A creative journey that started at my mom's kitchen table.
My Happy Factor was built on a lifetime of creativity, connection, and the people who inspired me along the way.
Every creative journey begins somewhere...
Mine began at my mom's kitchen table.
Some of my happiest childhood memories were spent creating alongside my mom. We made crafts together, talked for hours, laughed often, and without realizing it, she was teaching me something that would shape the rest of my life.
She taught me that creativity isn't really about the finished project.
It's about the time you spend with the people you love.
Life came full circle.
As an adult, I introduced my mom to scrapbooking. We spent many hours together playing with photos filled with memories, stories, and laughter.
Those moments became some of the most treasured times we shared.
After losing my mom, those memories mean even more to me. They remind me that handmade projects have a way of preserving the moments that matter most.
Finding My Happy Factor
When I became a mom, life became wonderfully busy. Like so many women, I found myself giving my time and energy to everyone else.
Once a month, a group of friends and I would gather around a table to create together.
Those evenings became my reset button. We laughed. We talked. We encouraged one another.
And I realized something...
People weren't just coming to make crafts.
They were coming to make memories.
That realization became the inspiration for My Happy Factor.
Why I started My Happy Factor
I wanted to create the kind of place I had been looking for myself.
A place where beginners feel welcome.
Where friends make meories.
Where everyone leaves proud of what they created.
Where strangers become
friends.
Because creativity has
an incredible way of
bringing people together.
A Dream for the Future
One day, I hope to welcome people into the
My Happy Factor Creative Studio & Cafe.
A place where creativity, coffee, conversation, and community all come together under one roof.
Until then, I'll keep bringing My Happy Factor to communities throughout Connecticut, one workshop, one private event, and one Take Home Project Kit at a time.
